Comments are collaborative feedback about documents or tags. You can use them with other users to make decisions as illustrated in the following figure.
Comments are linked to a document or tag that is the subject of the comment. Documents that are the subject of comments can be redlined and the markups will only be part of the comment and not visible outside the comment. Permissions set by a system administrator determine who may edit, close, or delete comments. Documents that are outside the repository can be uploaded and attached to comments to provide more information for comment. You can easily see all comments about a specific document or tag.
Note The Comments feature is only available if you are using an Explorer Standard or Explorer Plus level license.
Comments have one of the statuses as described in the following table.
