Opening a project
Opening a project allows you to see all of the repository items that are associated with the project folder. You can open a project folder with the following methods.
To open a project folder from a project copies page:
- In the project copy list, right-click the project copy for which you want to open its project folder. The shortcut menu appears.
- Select Open Project.
To open a project folder from a projects view:
- Browse or search the repository until the project that you want to open appears in the results pane.
- In the results list, double-click the project folder name.
OR
- Right-click the folder name. The shortcut menu that appears.
- Point to Open and then select Open in a new page.
All methods produce the same result. Several new pages open:
- A detail page showing the properties of the project folder.
- A view page that shows the documents that reside in the project folder, including project copies made from master documents. You can use the navigation tools to search, browse, and filter the results list as described in Using view pages.
- A view page that shows the object tags that are related to the documents that reside in the project folder, including those in sub-folders. You can use the search tools to find specific object tags as described in Using view pages.
