What’s new in BlueCielo Meridian Explorer 2012 SP5

The major new features of Meridian Explorer include:

• Thumbnails are now synchronized correctly in Meridian Explorer when only renditions are copied to the repository.
• Keyword and property-based navigation drop-down lists now support more than 2000 unique values.
• An Internal Server Error could occur when opening Meridian Explorer on Windows Server 2012 with ASP.NET 4.0 installed.

• A new registry value UpdateProperties has been added to the following key that can be used to prevent the vault properties from being modified:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BlueCielo ECM Solutions\Application Manager\Settings\DexMeridian

• The shortcut menu could be hidden behind the viewer window. The viewer is now temporarily hidden when the shortcut menu is shown.
• When Meridian Explorer is opened with DOCFILTER or TAGFILTER parameters (from an asset management system, for example) the Home tab can now be clicked to open Meridian Explorer to the Home page in a new browser tab and a different view selected.

• A new registry value WriteBufferUnits value has been added to the following key that can be adjusted to prevent SQL Server timeout errors when synchronizing large documents. The number must be between 1 and 1240 (default).
