Working with projects

Project folders are made in the Meridian Enterprise source vault using the system's Managed Change or Meridian Advanced Project Workflow Module features. Project folders can contain the working copies of master documents that reside elsewhere in the repository. The project copies are typically being revised as part of a project and the copies will either supercede or be merged with the master documents when the project has completed.

Project folders appear in the Folders pane and in projects views with a unique icon . Project folders can have their own custom properties such as Project Number or Manager and can have a workflow that matches the business process of the project owner.

You can work with projects in Meridian Explorer in many of the same ways that you can documents. That is, with view pages as described in Using view pages and property pages as described in Using the Properties page.
