Adding memo properties to the full text index

By default, memo type properties are not indexed for full text searching. If users want to be able to search those properties in addition to the other data types, you can add them to the full text index.

To add memo properties to the full text index:

  1. In the BlueCielo Application Manager configuration tree, select Repositories\<Repository>\Data Schema\Documents\Document Properties or select Repositories\<Repository>\Data Schema\Object Tags\Object Tag Properties accordingly. The current property definitions appear.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click Text Search. The Properties included in text search dialog box appears.
  3. Expand a property set name to view its properties. To filter the properties shown, type part of a property set name in Property set or type part of a property name in Property name. The list of properties refreshes to show only the matching properties.
  4. Select the property that you want to add and click the > button or double-click the property name. The selected property is added to the Selected properties list. To remove a property from the Selected properties list, select the property and click the < button.
  5. When you are finished selecting properties, click OK. The selected properties are added to the full text index.
