Viewing license usage

The server, client, and viewer licenses that are claimed by Meridian Explorer can be viewed in the Meridian Enterprise Administrator tool along with the licenses claimed by Meridian Enterprise. The Meridian Explorer licenses alone can be viewed with the , which can be more convenient. By default, the Meridian Explorer client licenses expire after 3 minutes of inactivity.

To view Meridian Explorer license usage:

  1. In the configuration tree, expand BlueCielo Meridian Explorer 2012 and select Repositories. The existing repository definitions appear in the right pane.
  2. In the right pane, click the Licenses button . The Licenses dialog box appears. The Licenses page shows the available licenses.

Note    The number of licenses listed here is retrieved from the Meridian Enterprise License Server during repository synchronization. If you install additional licenses, they will not be available to Meridian Explorer users until after the next synchronization has occurred.

  1. Click the Details tab. The Details property page appears, showing the number of each type of license claimed in the last hour, the total number of licenses claimed, and the names of the users who have claimed licenses and when they were claimed.
  2. Click Close.
