Configuring a publishing job

After the Documentum system link has been enabled as described in Enabling the Documentum system link, a new destination system type is available when you create a new publishing job.

To configure a publishing job to use the Documentum system link:

  1. Create a new publishing job as described in the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Server Administrator's Guide and select DOCUMENTUM on the Select destination system page.
  2. Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.
Documentum connection options
Option Description

Type site address here

The address of the Documentum site.

Docbase

The name of the Documentum docbase where to publish documents.

User name

An account with permissions in the locations specified for Site address and Docbase.

Password

The password for the account specified for User name.

  1. Click NEXT. The available cabinets on the specified system are listed.
  2. Select one or more destination cabinets and then click NEXT. The job is created and opened for editing.
  3. Configure the applicable options as described in the remaining topics in this chapter.
  4. Click SAVE.
