Exporting publishing jobs

Exporting publishing jobs saves their configuration information to a ZIP file that can be imported into the same system or a different system. You specify the location of the file when you export the publishing jobs.

Exporting publishing jobs is useful for several reasons:

To export Meridian Enterprise Server jobs:

  1. In Meridian Enterprise Server Configurator, in the Data Exchange group, click Jobs. The All Jobs page appears and lists the existing publishing jobs. The jobs are grouped by the name of the computer (cluster node) to which they have been assigned.
  2. In the app bar, click EXPORT. The EXPORT JOBS dialog box appears and lists the available jobs.
  3. Select the jobs that you want to export and then click EXPORT. The EXPORT FILE PATH dialog box appears.
  4. Click the folder icon . The BROWSE dialog box appears.
  5. Select a destination folder on the server and click OK. The folder location appears in the EXPORT FILE PATH dialog box.
  6. Edit the filename, if necessary, and then click EXPORT. A background task is started and you may continue working.
