Who should read this guide

This guide is intended for advanced Meridian Enterprise users who are responsible for vault configuration, security, and implementing engineering business processes. Readers should be familiar with, and have experience in:

• The Windows® operating system, including its use in a network environment
• All aspects of using Meridian Enterprise from an end-user perspective
• Using and managing the organization’s documents in the conduct of its business
• The practices and requirements of all constituent user groups that will use the system
• Basic document control methodologies such as revision control
