Reassigning project managers

Reassigning project managers changes the persons who are authorized to run a project’s workflow transitions. This can be useful if a current manager is unavailable to continue the project’s workflow or to assign additional managers.

To reassign project managers:

  1. Select the project for which you want to reassign managers.
  2. From the Folder menu, select Project Workflow, and click Reassign Project Manager(s). The Reassign Project Manager(s) dialog will appear similar to the following figure.

  1. Select the desired managers.
  2. Optionally, type a comment to be added to the project workflow log.
  3. Click OK.

The names of the new managers will appear in the Manager property on the Folder property page.
