Attaching a document uploads a copy of a document that you select to the Meridian Enterprise vault and links it to the current asset.
Note The Attach a new document in IC-Meridian icon
that appears in the upper-right corner of the Linked Documents page is visually identical to, but performs a different action than, the Attach a new version in IC-Meridian icon
that appears on the Document property page for each document. Be sure that you click the correct icon, depending on the action that you want to perform.
To attach a new document:
in the upper right corner of the page. The Attach document in BC-Meridian page appears and states to which asset the document will be linked.Note The document is attached to the current asset using property linking.
